We visited "Assiut University Liver Hospital" and "Assiut University Heart Hospital" to measure the vital signs of both normal and patient persons. In order to compare the accuracy of the Vitalism Application with traditional medical devices, we recorded the results obtained from both methods.

Which devices is Vitalism Check compatible with?

Vitalism Check is compatible with Android mobile devices and Windows laptops and desktops. Vitalism Check is also available as a web application for Google Chrome and Safari mobile browsers.

Does Vitalism Check require internet connection to measure health parameters?

Yes, internet connection is needed to complete measurements using Vitalism Check.

Does Vitalism Check save images or videos of users?

No, Vitalism Check does not save images or videos of users.

Does Vitalism have access to the data measured using Vitalism Check?

No, Vitalism does not have access to the data measured. The data is accessible to your account admins and your clients so that you may both view measurement history and trends.

Does Vitalism’s health monitoring require contact with the skin?

Vitalism offers two methods of measurement:

  1. Contactless, video-based (rPPG) – requires the user to look at the device’s camera.
  2. Contact-based (PPG) – requires the user to touch the smartphone rear camera with a finger. The contact-based measurement is to be used in challenging conditions, like complete darkness or excessive movement.
